We truly understand that any business is only as good as the sum of its parts and to us that means the quality of our staff. Hence we invest in training and support at all levels.
Here are just a few examples of what we do.
Like many firms, Covid acted as a catalyst for a change in working practices. We had already invested in cloud technology and with all our system now hosted online it has been an easy transition to allow our staff to work from home or the office. Today we encourage a good work / life balance by allowing staff to work from home 50% of the time. This means they can still engage with colleagues on a weekly basis but have the flexibility to work around the pressures of family life.
As an environmentally conscious employer in 2020 whilst the office was closed due to covid, we embarked on reducing the carbon footprint of the business. We replaced all of our lighting with low energy fittings and within a space of a few short weeks adapted all of our systems to become 99% paperless. For many firms in the legal sector this seems like something of a pipe dream, but we have achieved this and would encourage others to do the same.
As a longer term investment in both our business and the environment in July 2022 we have contracted with Coretech Electrical Service to supply a 10 Kw Solar array on our roof and associated battery storage. We aim to generate more the 50% of our energy use and will also be able store electricity overnight when costs and general usage is much lower. The dynamic nature of this system will enable us to keep costs under control and benefit the whole environment for many years to come.
